PATTY DONOGHUE ART My art tends to be bright, happy, colorful, impressionistic, abstract or semi-abstract paintings. I study a theme and have the most comfort using a loose free style in my art. As a child, I dreamed of being an artist and as a teenager my art became a therapeutic outlet that allowed my continued optimistic focus and success, during extreme trying times, relocation and family separations. To me, painting, and creating has a therapeutic value. This strong belief, led to a successful career as an Occupational Therapist and healthcare administrator. Today my full focus is on what has always been in my soul, and I lead a full time art business career. I teach painting as a stress, therapeutic, tool. My art has been shown in multiple juried shows, and it has purchased internationally, It has promoted non-profit organizations and fundraising effort.
