ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Railway from Wartime series. During this time, Lauren was fixated on Railway tracks, pylons and playing with the notion of perspective. This is a experimental approach by the use of black paper and the use of colours. The painting has a very smooth and glossy texture, as paint was applied very thinly using a paintbrush and materials such as: netting, sponges and plastic edges. Acrylic painting on Paper, completed in 2012. Painting can be placed in a frame when bought.
