ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Sir Roger Moore (1927 - 2017) played James Bond in seven Bond movies between 1973 and 1985. The James actors are the perfect persons for my classical style for they are handsome and stylish with a classical touch.

The love for painting and drawing began in childhood for artist Janine van der Kaaij-Kruijmer (1969, The Netherlands). After studying Economics, she spent several years working in the corporate world. When her family grew — with two sons and two daughters — she chose to pursue painting on a more professional level. Over the years, she specialized in floral painting, exhibiting her work internationally and leading workshops. Her flower paintings are now part of private and public collections around the world. Impressionism has been a major source of inspiration, expanding her technical range and artistic freedom. In addition, she has mastered classical portrait painting through the study of traditional techniques in Florence, Italy. Today, these influences and skills come together in a distinctive and cohesive body of work. Alongside commissioned pieces, she enjoys creating original designs that invite the viewer to discover new perspectives and sources of inspiration.
