Alison Adams is a mixed media artist based near Tetbury, in the heart of the Cotswolds in England. Inspired by the wild, varied beauty of the surrounding landscape, her work celebrates the organic forms of nature — often reimagined into fantastical creatures and plant life that blur the boundary between the real and the whimsical. Her process is intuitive and exploratory. Alison often begins with playful experimentation, allowing the subject to emerge organically as she works. This approach aligns with aleatory art (from the Latin alea, meaning “dice”), embracing chance and unpredictability as creative tools.
