Seagulls on stones Print

The artwork is painted in oil on high-quality linen canvas in the style of impressionism. The side edges of the artwork are painted, so it can be hung without a frame. On the seashore in Arcadia (Odessa) there is a restaurant Krym, from which a beautiful view of the sea opens. In calm weather, in the evening, seagulls gather on the coastal stones, and lonely clouds are reflected on the motionless surface of the sea. At such moments, you involuntarily forget that there is a war going on in Ukraine, our soldiers are shedding blood, protecting the country from russian terrorists, Ukrainians are dying from rocket attacks. And only the sound of an air raid alert about Russian missiles approaching Ukraine brings back to the terrible reality. When writing the work, such combinations of colors were used that create the illusion of the reflection of clouds on the water, which then appears and disappears (the illusion of movement) depending on the angle of view of the painting. The artwork was painted in Odessa (Ukraine) in 2022 during the war. This painting, like all my paintings, is individual, I paint only what I saw personally (I never duplicate my artworks, I don't make copies from other people's paintings).
