ABOUT THE ARTWORK

A view through the open door into the staircase and further throughout into the sunny, bright and green garden. My goal within this painting is to display the sunlight reflection as vivid and realistic as possible onto the different objects and materials in the staircase. To me it was important to highlight the contrast between the static tidiness and the vivid chaos created by the kids with their shoes, backpack and the balls. Oil colors allow a deep colorfulness within the painting and the precise use of light accents.
