ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is inspired by Paul Wright, an artist who specialises in impressionism. It depicts a pair of hands that are held in a particular way, to highlight how fascinating the human form is. It is done in a similar style to Paul Wright's works, but with certain differences; the brushstrokes are not as bold but are still clearly visible. The background is also more uniform, to draw more attention to the subject matter. I hope to inspire a sense of self and reflection in the viewer.
