ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In all seasons I love to take long walks in my region: in winter the colors are muted and in particular when the weather is gray and it has snowed the landscape is monochrome. The trees in winter look like lifeless skeletons, but in reality they are resting in anticipation of the awakening of spring. All colors are almost erased: only a little green remains of the meadows partly covered by snow. Silence dominates everything: up to the farthest hills: I love this harsh landscape of peace. As always my medium is oil on canvas because In my opinion, oil painting is the most traditional and also the most current way to describe the emotions of the images that strike me.
