MFA candidate, Full Sail University, Media Design. Completed a refresher course online from MOMA recently. It was inspiring and informative, I am an artist who prefers to paint en plein air landscapes in oils, as well as abstracts in acrylic. For now I am a studio artist. I traveled and lived in the Pacific Northwest for 5 years. I have lived in many regions of the U.S. and have traveled to Mexico, Switzerland and Canada. I paint portraits, landscapes and abstracts. I have studied art in college off and on since 1980. I would like to make art that speaks to people and stirs their emotions- not just a trendy piece or an accepted current statement popular in the media. I hope to teach a fun art intro class to children under 8 years old a few times a week at some point in the future. I have not been able to keep most of my paintings as I traveled or moved frequently but prints are available. I plan to create 5 large canvas paintings by graduation this coming August.
