I am a contemporary painter based in Cleveland, Ohio, creating vibrant abstract and nature-inspired paintings with a strong sense of color, movement, and depth. After many years as a Creative Director, I now paint full-time, bringing a refined design sensibility and professional studio practice to my work. My paintings are layered, expressive, and intuitive, blending abstraction with organic forms. I work in oil, acrylic, and watercolor, often combining techniques to build richly textured surfaces and dynamic compositions. Experimentation is central to my process—each piece evolves through risk-taking, revision, and the gradual accumulation of color, form, and gesture. Subtle traces of pentimento remain visible, revealing the history and energy beneath the final surface. Inspired by nature, abstract expressionism, and modern design, my work balances structure and spontaneity. A relaxed, bohemian aesthetic often emerges naturally, alongside bold color palettes and a contemporary feel that complements modern interiors. I aim to create uplifting, emotionally resonant artwork that enhances living and working spaces. My paintings are frequently commissioned by interior designers and collected for both private homes and public environments.
