ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Painting: Egg Tempera on Wood Size: 15 x 19 cm Handmade icon of the Savior. The work is done in the traditional technique: linden board, pavoloka, gold, egg tempera, drying oil, varnish. Chasing was made on gold. Natural crystalline pigments add transparency and depth to images by reflecting light.
