The botanical garden expresses a mix of plants growing down in the bottom of the ground and shine with unusual colors by the different light touching them occasionally. My name is Katerina Ivanova, born on January 12, 1990. I am an IT engineer and artist and have been living in beautiful Munich since September 2018. I began painting at a young age and learned the basics of figurative art, landscape design, perspective, and color theory. Later, I turned to portraiture, which I enjoyed immensely, before increasingly shifting my focus to landscapes and nature. As a lover of Impressionism and Expressionism, I follow the 19th-century Impressionist style and enjoy the freedom to combine it with Expressionist color palettes. I also experiment with abstraction in large-format paintings to allow my creativity to flow freely. My artistic training: At the age of seven, I attended a private art school in Skopje, Macedonia, three times a week for three years. There, the diverse instruction in various fields allowed me to explore almost all media. Even today, I enjoy experimenting with different techniques, although my primary medium is oil—a focus I had already established in art school. As the youngest member of an adult art school, I explored many artistic fields, but showed particular talent in portrait painting. Supported by my high school art teachers, I painted portraits of well-known poets in our country and gave them these works as gifts. I also won several city and regional art competitions. I explore and paint daily, I personally think my paintings have a lot of soul in them, as I dedicate a lot of focus and attention in every piece I create.
