I was born and raised in Crimea, Ukraine, by the sea, surrounded by stunning nature that has been my source of inspiration since childhood. My artistic journey began in a creative family: my father was an architect, and my grandfather was a painter and sculptor. They taught me how to see beauty in everyday life. I still remember walks with my father, when we would stop to observe the beauty around us — a habit I now pass on to my own children. In my work, I turn to themes of femininity, the beauty of nature, and my Ukrainian roots and culture, which are deeply important to me. Currently, I am developing a series of paintings inspired by Crimean Tatar ornament — the culture of the indigenous people of my homeland, who are now facing oppression and persecution. Florida has become a new oasis of peace and beauty for me. Here, among birds and plants, I find strength to cope with longing for my home and the sorrow brought by the war in Ukraine. Painting helps me transform these emotions into light and harmony. In my practice I work with different media — acrylics for expressive energy, watercolor for lightness and transparency, and pastels for vivid accents. Through this, I combine emotional intensity with delicacy, creating works that are both contemporary and deeply personal.
