About The Artwork

The image comes after a very good friend and me visited an installation at an art gallery in London. I liked the idea of making a painting out of this particular installation, as it resumed for me very well the feelings I had about living abroad for over two years at the time. The painting TRANSIT received the first prize award at the 2004 Sherwin Williams national painting prize. It was further exhibited in the show Transit held at Centro Cultural Recoleta (http://www.centroculturalrecoleta.org), as part of an exhibition featuring artists from around the world from the MA Fine Art degree from Saint Martins, London, UK, 2002.
