About The Artwork
Our place can be where the pyramid in the flowers are. Walk drawing and draw walking. Passionate about drawing, my works begin in nature and vegetation. The flowers, plants and parks found in the city are the seeds for my works to bloom and flourish. The shapes of nature are my way of telling stories. Botany is my way of learning and transmitting the profound wisdom of nature. My artistic work expresses the wisdom of plant forms, processes and movements. The works, with the flowers and the vegetation in it, are evidence of the form of energy that reveals the transformation of the landscapes. That's why I take small flowers to large scales which allow us to see ourselves immersed in them. Each work combines the linear expression of illustration and pictorial volumetry, the organic line and the geometric one. It relates urban architecture and vegetation, the line of drawing and the volumetry of chiaroscuro.

Argentina
Lucía Buchar (Argentina, 1989) For the past five years she concentrates on the study of botany. For the past two years she paints commissioned mural in different parts of the world (Argentina,France, Spain and USA). She creates live paintings, performance, illustrations, prints, etchings and ceramics. She is currently working at Argentina’s National Museum of Fine Arts where she coordinates the Capacity Development education department. She also works as a curator‘s assistant at the Museum. As an educator she teaches Art in Elementary School, Art History in High School and Art practice workshops for adults. She creates works as a freelance designer and illustrator. Besides that she continues educating and developing herself professionally as a researcher in different projects for Buenos Aires University.
