Painted en plein air in a field of wild, dried grasses in the mountains of Topanga. There is something pristine and mysterious about the untouched grasses and scrub, dried and faded that reminds me of childhood, playing and hiding in tall grass. Painted on Arches 140 lb paper. The image is approximately 17 x 25 inches on a 22 x 30 sheet. The deckled edges are preserved.
