ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Buy a small, original abstract oil painting. Made by Aleksander Borgerød. Oil on Canvas. I offer prints and global shipping. Description: 50x60, oil on canvas, unvarnished. The painting consists of three layers of paint in mixed consistencies, topped off with undiluted paint. Where as the two first layer was applied with brush, and with a palette knife for the rest of the layers. Origin: During the painting process I experienced a few troubling feelings, which boils down to two things: Financial trouble, and a worries regarding consistency in my work. My following is growing, but my income wasn't. Additionally I've recently started 3D-rendering my art into NFT's my workload had doubled, which led to me not being able to tend to my other platforms for a month or so. I went to art school during most of my childhood and once more during my adult life, apart from that I have a degree in business administration and economics. Currently I’ve been painting with oil & canvas for six years. “Emotional Bias” - An artistic study on the the subliminal effect emotions have on artwork. The project is based on an actual theory of the same name, and it revolves around how our emotions controls us to an extent we don’t even notice. I like to compare it to “lenses” that we use to perceive our surroundings, and every emotion is its own color.
