Rith Kapitulsky is an Israeli photographer and digital artist whose creative perspective is shaped by a rich synthesis of diverse cultural landscapes. From an early age, she was fascinated by photography and drawing. For her, capturing an image brings a rare sense of total freedom, pure emotion, and boundless inspiration—a feeling reminiscent of a child experiencing an endless summer vacation.
Her artistic worldview was initially formed in St. Petersburg, a city where art permeates every canal, bridge, cathedral, and museum, from the white nights of summer to foggy autumn days. In 1990, Kapitulsky moved to Israel, where the vibrant Mediterranean seashore, ancient stone ruins, desert hills, and vineyards offered a completely different energy and color palette. These contrasting environments now coexist harmoniously in her creative inner vision.
Despite pursuing a technical education, Kapitulsky continuously studied fine arts and refined her photography practice from the age of eight. Today, her practice encompasses both black-and-white and colorful abstract architectural photography. A central aspect of her work involves unconventional photo manipulation and creative transformation, elevating photographs into digital fine art paintings that explore light, shade, and color harmony.
Her works are produced in limited editions of no more than 10 prints per piece, created using fine-art techniques on materials such as archival paper, canvas, glass, and aluminum. She also collaborates on custom commissioned artworks for private clients and interior designers, with her pieces featured in architectural and design projects internationally.
