SHIPPING AND RETURNS
I took this photo in 2012 in London. I was in the Portobello road market and these books were for sale. I immediately loved the pattern given by the seriality of the arrangement of the books that I decided to frame in a frontal compositional form, isolating them from the other objects on sale.

Contact us.Antonino Siragusa is an Italian contemporary artist born in Messina, Sicily, where he lives and works. His paintings are held in private collections across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, with more than 300 artworks currently located in eighteen countries.
Working primarily in acrylic, Siragusa creates contemporary paintings inspired by the Mediterranean landscape, the sea, light, memory, and human perception. His work ranges from atmospheric seascapes and abstract compositions to architectural and figurative subjects, always guided by a search for emotional depth and visual simplicity.
Graduating with honors in Philosophy, he developed an interdisciplinary approach that combines aesthetics, psychology, and visual art. This philosophical background informs a body of work that explores the relationship between reality, imagination, and contemplation.
Influenced by the changing light of Sicily and the cultural heritage of the Mediterranean, Siragusa employs restrained color palettes and expressive surfaces to create images that invite reflection rather than narration. The sea often appears as a metaphor for the inner world, while light becomes a symbol of revelation and transformation.
His work has been exhibited in galleries, museums, and cultural institutions throughout Italy and continues to reach an international audience through exhibitions, private collections, and online platforms.
Today, Antonino Siragusa is recognized for his contemporary Mediterranean paintings, expressive seascapes, and atmospheric abstract works that bridge landscape, memory, and emotion.
