I completed my studies in Visual Communication at the prestigious Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences. During my education, I had the privilege of attending workshops with leading figures in the design and art world such as Mario Lombardo, Mirco Borsche, Alice Chi, Michael Throm, and Abraham David Christian. This experience significantly influenced my artistic path and refined my creative vision. I also had the opportunity to teach at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (K.I.T.), where I led a seminar in Architecture Theory titled "EnVisite: An Architectural Guide for Baden-Baden" for German-French double master's students. This underscored my teaching abilities and commitment to nurturing young talents. Throughout my artistic career, I've been fortunate to be supported and inspired by outstanding mentors. Mr. Erich Reiling has greatly influenced my painting and approach to artistic themes. Thomas Rothfuß introduced me to the world of illustration and the art of haikus, providing deep insights into the works of Saul Steinberg and Giacometti. Florian Dreher has been a constant source of guidance, especially in teaching and imparting artistic knowledge. Wolfgang Henseler has always been open to insightful discussions on media design and new technologies. My preferred media include photography and small installations, which I often manipulate with software or leave in their original state. My creative process involves various techniques: photography, scanning, printing, cutting, collaging, and composing to create unique works, which I document photographically. Though sketches and comics in abstract form don’t often go public, they are integral to my artistic routine and serve as significant sources of inspiration. A primary theme in my work is found objects and simple, aesthetically charged imagery that initially portrays superficial beauty but reveals deeper layers upon closer inspection. Often, my works feature everyday objects that are elevated and transformed through staging. These pieces pay homage to the mundane and simplicity, aiming to showcase the delicate beauty in the simplest things, objects, and moments. Dadaism has had the greatest influence on my work, particularly artists like Francis Picabia, Marcel Duchamp, Kurt Schwitters, and Theo van Doesburg.
