"Mystic Sea No 3: Fossil Basin" Print

An Arkansas native, I’m a former art educator and abstract expressionist, action painter, based in Puerto Rico. My multidisciplinary practice is a dialogue between traditional art and the limitless potential of digital collage with a body of work that stands as a diverse collection seamlessly blended with the precision of new-media technology. My body of work evolved with my signature 'SplashArt fluid art painting' technique, a self-coined process that captures the kinetic moment paint and water collide, allowing the viewer a deep investigation through a lens of motion and abstraction. Every original giclée print is produced from a painting that is meticulously hand made and sustainably curated, reflecting a passion designed to inspire and create a visual dialogue. Sustainable practices are used as these gestural abstract compositions transition from canvas paintings to original archival giclée prints. Archival giclée prints offer an easier and environmentally sustainable way to produce and ship art, enabling collectors to have peace of mind on reducing waste from production of the work to shipping it! My dual creative spirit Rennikki.Art, allows me to fuse ‘SplashArt fluid art’ paintings, and photography with digital art processes, to create layered one-of-kind pieces. My work is deeply reminiscent of cultural resonances, animals, the intersection of human experience and the natural world.
