**Artist Statement: The Prosser Series** The *Prosser Series* is a testament to the undeniable urge to break free from the confines of routine and immerse oneself in the world beyond the screen. Spanning over 12,000 miles across the United States, this series, captured by Barry, is not just a collection of photographs; it's a journey of discovery, wonder, and transformation. Each image captures the raw beauty of the road, the landscapes, and the fleeting moments that remind us of the power of exploration. In a world where we often find ourselves tethered to technology, I felt an overwhelming need to step away, to breathe in the open air, and to witness the miracles that only reveal themselves when we venture into the unknown. The *Prosser Series* is about taking that first, bold step—one that leads to unexpected encounters, breathtaking vistas, and a deeper understanding of the world and ourselves. This series is an invitation to others to trust their instincts, to chase the horizon, and to embrace the journey with all its uncertainties. Born Pittsburgh, PA Graduated from Penn State University, Barry has exhibited her work throughout the United States and Internationally, since. She has created pop up studios -- Suite 106 in Florida, West Eleven in Los Angeles, and, most recently SixTHreeFouR in Jacksonville, FL. to create interactive environments that include paintings, sculptures, music, movement and installations that tell stories to connect the myths of our inner worlds with the consistent symbolism held and expressed in the everyday words and movements of our seemingly disconnected modern outer world. In 2022, she began a collaboration with Clark Creamer, artist and husband, on Bold Cityscapes-- a 45 original painting series where Art Deco meets Futurism, meets 1980's Miami Vice.
