Elegantchikova (Elena Gantchikova Mathiesen) is a Paris-based French synesthetic multidisciplinary artist and interdisciplinary creator | Pianist & Audiovisual Composer | Creator of Artist Jewelry (unique pieces) | Art & Music Critic | Pedagogue. Trained at the Moscow School of Fine Arts, the Moscow and Paris Conservatories, EHESS/CNRS, IRCAM/Centre Pompidou, and TU Berlin, she emerges from a deeply rooted artistic lineage. Her authority is further reinforced through residencies at the Akademie der Künste Berlin, IMEB, and the Paul Sacher Stiftung. A synesthetic artist and creator of audiovisual immersive worlds, she develops a unified artistic language grounded in live piano performance as a primary source of emotional energy. Around this core unfolds a total synthesis of the arts, where visual compositions, surreal imagery, collectible panels and assemblages interact with sound art and sound design, forming immersive environments and spatial installations. Rooted in a profound knowledge of art history and perceptual systems, her work bridges classical heritage and cutting-edge technologies. Rather than rejecting tradition, she extends it — positioning herself as a continuator of a long artistic evolution into the technological present. Her practice is structured through an art-science approach, based on a sophisticated hybrid process of iterative transformations between the physical and the digital. Each work is developed from high-resolution master files exceeding 1 GB, ensuring uncompromising precision, and is produced in Paris at the Dupon Laboratory using museum-grade materials (Hahnemühle paper, canvas, Alu-Dibond, acrylic). Her work follows a controlled model of rarity and progressive valuation: a total worldwide edition of 30 + 3 AP, each piece constituting a unique manual recomposition. Pricing evolves incrementally (+5% after each acquisition), with the possibility of a full 1/1 buyout allowing the definitive withdrawal of a work from the market. All works are produced to museum standards, adapted to architectural scale, and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity with advanced digital traceability. Her entire body of work is managed by ADAGP and SACEM. In France, her work is eligible for corporate tax incentives under Article 238 bis AB of the CGI.
