Sliced Garlic is part of a continuous multi award winning photo project I started a couple of years ago when I discovered an immense amount of discarded food which was too old to be sold at the local supermarket. Although it was considered unsellable, I found that through the ageing process, the food started to show their wonderful imperfections and vast variety of colours. This fascination developed into a personal project where I use my unique photography process of combining my multiple imagery camera data with my multiple imagery scanned data of the discarded food which I had found. In the end, I believe that I want to somehow bring attention to the beauty, strangeness and unique structure of discarded pieces of produce. I have always been fascinated with the intense variety of structure and colour of natural objects in their process of decay. Final images can contain anywhere from up to 80 single images. This image has been awarded in many international photographic competitions such as the International Photography Awards, New York and the PinkLady Food Photography Awards, London. Your work will be printed in Fine Art / Giclée, verified and certified. Everything will be packed in a tube sent by express courier. Hahnemuhle cotton paper, synonymous with absolute quality, The certificate of authenticity is signed by both the artist and the printer and guarantees that your print is a limited edition available only in the declared editions.

Anne Mason-Hoerter is a Canadian photographer who is inquisitive about how our memory is influenced by time. She photographs botanical or food items over a designated time frame, resulting in over 50 single images. Weeks later, she combines these multiple images to reconstruct the article she had photographed purely from her memory. She relies on this remembrance for defining what specific quality of that food or Botanics remained most prevalent in her mind through time. Anne was captivated very early on by extreme photographic manipulation techniques as a photographic student at the Ontario College of Art. Still today, Anne is in a continual search for unconventional ways in which to present food and botanical subject matter. Her images have been described, by many, as that of swaying between reality and surrealism. Her photographic imagery have won numerous international awards from across a variety of genres, especially in food advertising. She was shortlisted for 3 consecutive years at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards at the National History Museum, London and Finalist at the PinkLady Food Photography Awards which is the most prestigious event dedicated to this sector.
