My works range from photorealist drawings to conceptual interventions. This diversity is deliberate on my part since I define my own oeuvre as radically eclectic. For more than four decades, I have been using materials that are quite unconventional, like timber wood that had been previously used as packaging material. I strongly defie preset ideas established by the market, the art critics, the gallerists and the editors. I admonish the audience that neither the title of a work, nor its price, least its review can replace a direct appreciation and subjective interpretation of a work of art. More than inviting, I challenge the viewer not to use these gimmicks, but confront the oeuvre in solitude, trusting his senses, that he may even find a sense of humour in the works conveyed.
