Kim Barry Studio: The Atlantic Awakens - A Post-COVID Journey Back to Nature** In this photo series, *The Atlantic Awakens*, Kim Barry captures the dynamic energy of the Atlantic beach in Ponte Vedra through its ever-changing sunrises. Each photograph reflects the shifting emotions, colors, and atmospheres that emerge as the sun greets the horizon, embodying the daily rebirth of nature’s rhythm. Post-COVID, as the world craved reconnection to the elemental forces that heal and ground us, these sunrises symbolize a return to the essence of life—nature and health in their purest forms. The series is a celebration of the adventure that awaits every morning. Walking along the shore, one encounters the beach’s different personalities—sometimes calm and serene, other times vibrant and wild. Each sunrise is a reminder that life, like the sea, is unpredictable, offering new forms of beauty and resilience every day. As we reconnect with what is natural, these photographs remind us to embrace the unknown and to return to the basics: fresh air, open skies, and the healing power of the ocean.

Born Pittsburgh, PA Graduated from Penn State University, Barry has exhibited her work throughout the United States and Internationally, since. She has created pop up studios -- Suite 106 in Florida, West Eleven in Los Angeles, and, most recently SixTHreeFouR in Jacksonville, FL. to create interactive environments that include paintings, sculptures, music, movement and installations that tell stories to connect the myths of our inner worlds with the consistent symbolism held and expressed in the everyday words and movements of our seemingly disconnected modern outer world. In 2022, she began a collaboration with Clark Creamer, artist and husband, on Bold Cityscapes-- a 45 original painting series where Art Deco meets Futurism, meets 1980's Miami Vice.
