Wedding Dance I Print

In a landscape saturated by AI, as an artist, I remain firm. An Arkansas native, I leverage my signature ‘SplashArt’ technique to prove that the most mesmerizing digital abstracts still require the chaos of real paint and the intuitive hand of a master artist. A former fine arts educator, my multidisciplinary practice is a dialogue between the tactile heritage of traditional fine art and the limitless potential of 21st-century digital collage. My body of work stands as a diverse collection of mixed-media art, seamlessly blending my technique with the precision of new-media technology.​      Armed with practice and lifetime skill, I combine paintings, digital art, and photography to create layered narratives for the final professional giclée print. My portfolio extends beyond my signature "SplashArt" series, to include a variety of styles and subjects that explore the intersection of human experience and the natural world thus creating one-of-kind works.       In my early years, I focused on representational works before a transformative shift toward Abstract Expressionism (AbEx) evolved from my signature 'SplashArt' technique—a self-coined process capturing the kinetic moment paint and water collide. These gestural abstract compositions are preserved as high-resolution archival giclée prints, allowing for a deep investigation into natural surroundings and human identity through the lens gestural abstraction. Archival giclée prints offer an environmentally sustainable way to ship art.       A global traveler, my work is deeply reminiscent of the cultural resonances and color palettes encountered while traveling across the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Africa. Based in Puerto Rico, my work has been featured in San Juan exhibitions with the EEAG Collective, including Puerto Rico Seasons (2024) and Caribbean Vibes (2025), where I was selected 'Best to Represent Theme,' for my piece 'They Sing From Afar.' A featured artist on Saatchi Art, my work continues to bridge the gap between traditional fluid media, digital art and modern digital documentation. I received my BA in Studio Art at Arkansas State University in 1999, and MA in education at University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2018.       My work blends art with lifestyle, design, and fashion and is frequently collected by those seeking vibrant, ethereal energy for modern interior spaces.
