Unusual beauty is not easily accepted, even though the definition of beauty has come a long way in expanding beyond conventional standards of attractiveness. The promotion of diversity, individuality, and an inclusive concept of beauty is still necessary. In this photo series, particular personal features are seen as a matter of self-investigation. They should be viewed as a source of strength rather than a reason for insecurity. The work aims to challenge the idea that there is only one standard of beauty and encourages us to embrace our unique qualities.
