Rubén’s education is built on a deliberate departure from conventional epoxy resin practices. While many artists work with thin, brush-applied layers, his approach belongs to a new generation of resin artists who work with substantial, controlled layers, mastering depth, volume, and surface with absolute precision.

Entirely self-taught, his learning has been driven by an uncompromising process of trial and error, sustained through daily practice for over six years. Each layer is the result of countless tests — pigments, densities, curing times, temperatures, and pouring sequences — refined until the material behaves exactly as intended.

This method demands total control. Thick resin layers allow no margin for error: imperfections cannot be hidden, and every surface must withstand close inspection.
