Anthony Carlton Cooke is an Atlanta-based artist working in drawing and printmaking. His works are characterized by an emphasis on line, shape and texture to create biomorphic figures in states of physical and psychological transformation. Storytelling forms the core of Cooke’s artistic practice and he considers his pieces symbolic narratives. He uses mark making and repetition to create abstract and stylized stories that develop within a single work or across a series.
