ABOUT THE ARTWORK

These artworks are digital abstract collages, in which I mix my photos and handmade paintings and drawings. Limited edition consists only 5 high quality archival pigment print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Fine Art paper. Artworks are hand signed and the buyer receives the certificate of authenticity with the artwork. I am thinking of scarves, various, multi-purpose, in these artworks hijabs. Why to hide head? To me it is exotic. I am wondering why to cover and why to uncover. Mostly for religious reasons. Feminists go mad with headscarves, but it too is only one opinion. Scarves can be beautiful to have with no reason! I was also thinking about our need to decorate - the ornaments of different cultures. Nature also decorates, mostly males. Main headline could be also fashion.

Mental Art Gym I have drawn, painted, and photographed for a long time - almost every day for decades. I work both analogically and digitally. I have dozens of collections that I will continue on a long-term basis. I share my process on social media and in a couple of annual physical exhibitions. The most important thing is that I can realize my creativity with both old and ever-renewing techniques. I am an experimenter, explorer and adventurer. I love eternal change, surprises and coincidences. I am just as comfortable with traditional artist supplies as with computers. My whole art has become recognizable, a cartoon that looks like myself. The most important are layers, transparency, line, rhythm and colour—mental gymnastics with them.
