ABOUT THE ARTWORK

“Uncertainty Principle” The painting visually represents the idea that our future can be changed in any way by the consciousness of each individual, using the waves of water and the potential of individuals. In the micro world of small particles, there is a contradiction that it is impossible to simultaneously measure both the "position and momentum" of particles accurately. Each tiny substance has mass and possesses the dual nature of being both a wave of energy and a particle. Also, in the macro world, the artist expresses that people's consciousness becomes a wave of energy and, by physically moving, determines the uncertain course of the world and the potential of life.

Kaori Hamura Long is an artist based in Japan and the U.S. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berlin, and Tokyo. Her artwork expresses the fluidity of energy emanating from all physical and conscious fields. She believes that art and creation are the source of life and the universe. Expressing kinetic energy has always been her theme. Kaori's paintings are often spontaneous visualizations of the subconscious mind, inspired by nature and meditation. Since she grew up in Manga and Anime culture and worked as an illustrator, she often uses cartoon characters in her paintings to convey her concepts. She feels we are interconnected and hopes her art can reach others' hearts. Life inspires her, and she wants to lift people's spirits, promote world peace, and protect the environment through her art. www.kaorihamura.com www.mossmoon.com
