About Bill Rabinovitch
These Saatchi images are older work -- however ----- my Facebook page has many 2011 images including those about about Liberation in a wide range of new media formats beside painting. There are also recent writings on my Facebook page of my personal experiences with Dennis Oppenheim, John Baldessari, Alice Neel & many others. I'm a NYC painter, filmmaker & art writer -- merging my several talents in completing an Indie feature about Jackson Pollock where Pollock doesn't die in the car crash, enabling things to gradually move to today -- & beyond with a wide cast of NYC artists playing all the roles in post production. I've been uniquely videoing the NYC art worlds most spectacular openings in a broad range of aesthetics in extremely lively ways at top galleries, museums & alternative spaces for more than a decade & currently creating an interactive Vook so the iPhone/ iPad generation might experience things as they actually unfolded. Have done award winning plays about Picasso (acquired by MoMA), a cable play Julian Schnabel that achieved enormous popularity, another on Egon Schiele, etc. See my 5 minute 2004 Pollock trailer as well as the Director's page www.Pollocksquared.com
Artist/ engineer/ scientist/ USAF jet pilot / Whitney Independent Study Program in painting & NYC SOHO resident. Collaborated with Nam June Paik, Willougby Sharp & many others. Maven of modern Apple computer technology dealing with cutting edge animation & editing tools.
My indie feature film Pollocksquared.com still in post production, blends sci-fi & past, present & future with a wide cast of NYC artists. A 2006 coffee table Pollock book by Don Wigal 'Veiling the Image" on Amazon includes material contrasting my film very favorably with Ed Harris's version. See Director's page www.Pollocksquared.com
