Annekatrin Lemke was born in 1980 in Meiningen, Germany.
After studying wood design at the Academy Of Applied Art in Schneeberg, she now works as a master sculptor. Besides her work as a freelance artist she lectures at sculpting workshops and teaches future “master” wood-carvers.
Her colorful wooden reliefs combine three-dimensional art and painting, and feature architectural structures. They are snapshots influenced by the everyday life as well as music, theatre, street art and fashion.
Her creations were exhibited in Brussels, Karlsruhe, Liechtenstein, Erfurt and Suhl.
