Vlado Baca

Vlado Bača is one of Slovakia’s leading photographers, active on the art scene for many years. His work spans a wide range of themes, yet remains unified by a distinctive visual language marked by attention to detail, strong composition, and a refined sense of atmosphere.
Rather than simply documenting reality, Bača reinterprets it through a personal and often experimental approach, pushing the boundaries of traditional photography toward broader visual art. His work has been recognized through numerous awards and has been exhibited and published both in Slovakia and internationally.
At its core, his photography is authentic, thoughtful, and visually striking—leaving a lasting impression through its depth and unique perspective.

In 1983 and 1987 he participated in Rencontres in Arles.
He photographed in New York 1994, 1995, 2009.
In his free creations gives to a landscapes and figure photography - nude, portrait.
In 2004 he obtained the QEP Certificate - Qualified European Professional Photographer
from the Federation of European Professional Photographers - FEP and the honours AFIAP.
