I worked in book illustration for many years before returning to painting.
I like the 1950's Abstract Expressionist, I take my inspiration from the works of Kline, Pollock, Hofmann, Reinhardt and Motherwell. As well as Richter

The abstract painting are an expression of my passion and creativity. When oil paints are applied my mood dictates the result: darkly dramatic, energy-fuelled vibrancy or soulful serenity.
