I was growing up in a little country town, Phillippolis in the Free State of South Africa. My close interaction with nature shaped my intimate observation and skills to capture nature in oils. I dedicate myself to develop my skills and talent after my three children had grown up and left home in 2009. I have a loose impressionistic realistic style in fine art and also love to do contemporary abstract work. I draw my inspiration from the abundant natural beauty in the South African land- and seascapes and skiescapes are my forté. I exhibit all over in South Africa and Lesotho and some of my paintings are hanging in Malaysia, Far East, Lesotho and USA.
