My life as a photographer began before the days of digital cameras. My goal has always been to freeze a moment in time: the first tender blossoms of spring, a blazing field of wildflowers in the summer, and the vibrant colors of an autumn day in the forest.
I am a passionate about what I do and lose all sense of time when out photographing. On occasion I've become so embroiled in trying to get just the right shot that I find myself deep in the woods or in a meadow with the sun about to set.
My camera comes along with me to parks, gardens, nature preserves, markets, events, festivals, and while I'm out walking around town. And while I shoot a variety of subjects it is nature that I return to time and again to capture in all its glory. By showing you what I see I hope these images reflect that inspiration.
