Torn, distressed papers on canvas. The distressed papers were collected on illegal billposting places on the walls of Bologna in Italy. They contain the traces of the socail life of the city. I then further torn and destroyed them to enter in a new composition that focuses on rhythm and equilibrium. Ready to hang (framing optional). No varnish to preserve the rough textures of the papers.

I conceive my creations as a painter, even though I hardly use paint! I conceive my creations as a poet, even though I destruct words, to retain only fragment of letters, desperate attempts to communicate. My preferred materials are those that can be found in the streets, having suffered the passing of time, those whose mundane functions do not spontaneously elect them as arty material.
