About The Artwork
Using a variety of fine art paper, repurposed coffee filters and monoprint papers, I cut and collaged the elements onto canvas. The inspiration was taken directly from the square and rectangular shapes of the papers, moving and placing them about like puzzle pieces to construct the imagery. Piecing the elements together felt very much like sewing a quilt, layering and placing all the elements in harmony together.
