CALCUL 2 Collage

Andrei was born in Bucharest, Romania and has lived in Paris, France since 2003. After studying Law at the Sorbonne university and working as an advertising executive for a few years, he is now a full time artist and freelance illustrator. Andrei is completely self-taught. He is specialised in collage, both handmade and digital, a technique that he uses for both personal and commercial projects. His motto: there's beauty in strange places. His objective: to obtain balance in composition and harmony in the choice of colours. With these principles in mind, he cuts, mixes and glues photo fragments, magazine or newspaper cutouts, geometric shapes, letters and textures to give birth to new images. He had the opportunity to show his work in France, Romania, Norway, New Zealand and the United States.
