I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1979. I lived there until 2013, when I moved to Rio de Janeiro. After a couple of years living in Brazil and Cuba I returned to Uruguay. At the present I live in La Pedrera, a small town located in the east coast of the country. Here I have settled down my atelier and work sorrounded by trees and ocean. The subject matter of my actual work has to do with the human being and its relationship with the space he lives in. In my work I use and mix different techniques such as photography, painting and digital work, in order to explore a discover the results of this fusion. My inspiration comes from the urban life, from contemporary society scenes, which I photograph and process afterwards. Some of the subjetcs I work are related to the concepts of crowd, urban agglomeration and isolation. I feel stimulated by colours and use them as way of capture the attention of the audience at once.
