About The Artwork
While I was developing work, I had decided to experiment with old nail varnishes, and make-up products. This was one of the more refined outcomes. I felt that by using a beauty product like the concept of my work comments on, it would further strengthen the message. I wanted to mock the part of society, that cares so much about their appearance and the vanity of it; that they get very emotional when something is smudged, broken or 'ruined'.
