I was inspired by life's journey to create this piece from my 'Squares of Reflection' series titled "Daydream". The background is pure white. I individually sculpted/textured/painted and adorned each square on the piece with found objects/items I've collected over the years such as crystals, mirrors, beads, jewelry, ceramic pieces shaped like flowers, moons, hearts, etc. and other treasures. I hand-painted with acrylic paint the squares and background onto a wood panel measuring 20x20 inches - once artwork is assembled, I then coat the artwork in a 2 part epoxy resin which permanently embeds each item/treasure on the piece and creates a shiny, irresistible surface over the artwork. I used white for the background . I used multiple colors of red, blue, pink, orange, green, purple black and white within the piece. This artwork is wired on the back for easy hanging.
