Art Description

Collage: Paper, varnish on Wood.

I think I remember is part of a project called 'People'.
‘People’ is an on-going series of work about human variability, which shows there is a wide range of possible characteristics both physical and mental within the human race.
There are many different factors that can contribute to the variation. For instance, environmental factors that can be to do with climate, disease and diet. Cultural factors which may dictate ideology, fashion and how we may mark our bodies. And genetic factors dictated by the gene flow and genetic mutations within gene pools.
As we are a social species we have a need to compare ourselves to one another and through this series I want to explore and compare the variations by combining portraits from all walks of life and across time and cultures.
