My mixed-media artworks are crafted from found objects, repurposed hardware, and treasured vintage items. I source these materials from flea markets, estate sales, antique shops, and donations, relishing the search for unique items that have been forgotten or discarded. Each object I collect has its own history and character, which I carefully consider before incorporating it into my work. I spend my time in my studio, sorting through my collection to find the ideal elements that will bring my vision to life. This process allows me to connect deeply with each piece, respecting its past and imagining its potential within a new context. Reusing and repurposing materials is central to my creative practice. I am committed to minimizing waste, finding new purposes for each part of an item. By transforming forgotten objects into meaningful artworks, I breathe new life into them, inviting them to tell new stories and evoke fresh emotions.
