ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Oasis is one of 7 felt fabric targets made during the cold dark winter months in London to remind me of colour and warm places I have travelled to. Different people experience different energies and trance as colours and combinations provoke inner emotion and colour memories. There are many painted and printed art targets out there but no one is layering felt to form profile and depth that simulate a multi-coloured ripple. The circles are hand cut and hand stuck with the process taking a couple of days.
