About The Artwork

I accept commissions. My artworks are not for sale because their colors and symbols enrich my life, and I'm not ready to part with them. However, I do accept commissions and look forward to creating something unique for you. Please feel free to send me a DM on Instagram. This mosaic panel was made of 100% recycled paper on a styrofoam base and it was inspired by the fauna and flora of Rainforest land and indigenous shamans. The bright colors of TUCAN are considered to be attractive qualities and can bring good luck. The TUCAN is used as a spirit animal totem of some tribes and their shaman as a tool to penetrate the spirit world. This creature represents communication and self-confidence since this bird is one of the noisiest and loudest creatures in the forest. This TUCAN is screaming to preserve the Amazon rainforest and to save the planet!

I’m an Italian-Brazilian artistic soul. I have always been a self-taught artist, passionate about all styles of mosaics. My aesthetic vision of life awakened at a very early age, initially drawn to the theatre and later to the fashion world. After a degree in Fashion Design - Creation and Production, all my studies focused on communication through costumes in theatrical performances. I currently work with photography and videography but have been active in plastic art since my first still-life painting in my teenage years. My pieces always reflect things that are happening in my life, and each piece of mosaic and collage is a cathartic way to rebuild myself from pain and loss. I have worked with different kinds of materials, but paper has always been my favorite. My recycled paper mosaics are inspired by movements such as Poor Art, and their feedstocks are packages and boxes of daily products. I love the idea of reusing waste materials to create art! The Styrofoam previously used for sound insulation became a solid base for the panels, once it was wrapped and covered with kraft paper and glue. The colors are already available; I just need to choose the right piece and cut it, so I don't need to worry about the paints and their smell. I believe that sustainable art can make a difference and inspire positive change through creative thinking and care for our planet. The creative process starts there! I accept commissions. My artworks are not for sale because their colors and symbols enrich my life, and I'm not ready to separate them from me. However, I do accept commissions and look forward to creating something unique for you. Please feel free to send me a DM on Instagram.
