This hand-cut analog collage explores the delicate tension between the structured human form and the organic fluidity of nature. By obscuring the subject's gaze with a vibrant blue shroud, the work invites a meditation on anonymity and the internal landscapes we keep hidden. The juxtaposition of the...

Contact us.Nina Barnini is an artist based in Tuscany, Italy. She’s artistic practice is based on the collage technique and shaped by an intuitive visual language. Visual artist, Nina Barnini, draws her inspiration from the magic of bringing different images together. In her works, images that meet on the same surface create new meanings and a new sense of beauty. A simple visual connection transforms into powerful metaphors.
For this artist, creating collages is also a way of building a deeper connection with her soul. She works mostly intuitively, focusing more on her feelings than on rational planning. Because of this approach, her works carry a natural flow and a strong emotional presence.
Barnini describes her works as “visual poetry”. She values the idea that each viewer can discover their own meanings within her collages. For her, there are moments and experiences that cannot be expressed with words, yet they can still be deeply felt, and art becomes the medium through which these emotions emerge.
She invites the viewer into a silent space of reflection, where the boundaries between the real and the imagined dissolve.
She creates both paper and digital collages. Her collages have been exhibited in several galleries in Italy and Europe. She is also studying filmmaking. Her first short film, "Illusions," was featured at several international film festivals and won several awards. And this also influences her work, since each collage for her becomes a cinematic story edited onto a single sheet of paper.
