ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork was conceived digitally. When I started drawing it, I was already determined to work with black and white. I wanted a drawing based on horizontal lines, where I could explore the contrast of these two colors. The inspiration came from the graphics of building façades. After several studies, I came up with this result, which I make available here, for sale.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
